MAKILING CONFERENCE CENTEROne of the best-known centers established by the PFCED is the Makiling Conference Center in Calamba, Laguna. Its amenities include conference rooms, chapels and a Marian shrine, living rooms and classrooms, dining facilities, residential areas, a home economics and livelihood development center and a study camp with athletic courts.
Convinced that a change in society could only be effected by individuals who themselves undergo a personal transformation, the foundation put up various conference centers (e.g. Makiling, Laguna Hills, Latag) and partnered with other Foundations with a similar objective (e.g. Tagaytay Conference Center).
In these Centers, conferences on family values, spiritual retreats, and short seminars on professional excellence in all honest human endeavors are organized by/ through PFCED volunteers.
These conference centers also serve as venues for the exchange of ideas, to provide an environment for the study of important social issues, and to instill the consideration of such with a Christian outlook.
For over 55 years, thousands of people have been participating in these activities.
